Vera Eymann to give a talk at the SFNC 2025 in Paris

We are very pleased that our lab member Vera Eymann will give a talk at the special symposium "AI & Creativity" during the SFNC 2025 in Paris (May 2025).

Her contribution, which she co-authored with Thomas Lachmann and Daniela Czernochowski , is entitled:

"Generative AI vs. creative brains: AI could surpass us in art ... but also in science?"

Lab presentations at the ESCOP 2025 in Sheffield

Our laboratory will be represented at the ESCOP 2025 conference in Sheffield (September 2025) with two exciting contributions:

  • Daniela Czernochowski will give a lightning talk entitled "Did you see that coming? Age modulates the mechanisms of goal-directed response selection".
  • Ann-Kathrin Beck together with C. Souza, J.B. Garrido, J.C. Carmo, Thomas Lachmann and Daniela Czernochowski will present the study "Typicality, encoding and neurodivergence in recognition memory: cognitive strategies in autistic compared to neurotypical adults".

Our PhD student Dr. Larissa Leist has successfully defended her dissertation! (December 2024)

Congratulations, Dr. Leist!
