Research
Prof Dr Florence Metz leads and participates in internationally funded projects (e.g. by the Swiss National Science Foundation or the European Research Council). She has experience in field research in Europe, South East Asia and Africa. In 2023, she received the Professor De Winter Award for her co-authored article 'Policy Networks Across Political Systems' published in the American Journal of Political Science. In 2025, she received an ERC Starting Grant for her research project Climplexity (Grant agreement ID: 101163928) on EU climate governance and policy integration.
