Methods Seminar "Methods in Perception Research"

If you want to take part in the Lab Rotation "Perception", please register for it in the semester that you are finishing it, not the semester that you are starting it. You do not have to register separately for the methods seminar “Methods in Perception Research” because it is an integral part of the Lab Rotation.

In contrast, if you want to take the class "Methods in Perception Research" separately, you have to register for it, too. That class mainly consists in our analysis of the Lab Rotation data and a discussion of analysis of variance, how to make an organized and repeatable analysis, how to deal with outliers and data transformations, etc. It takes place whenever the lab rotation reaches the point of data analysis, which is usually at the end of the winter term. The exact date will be announced. Literature can be found in the OLAT course accompanying the lab rotation.

P.S.: The class "Mental Chronometry" is part of the Lab Rotation "Cognition".
