The project aims to improve road safety and driving pleasure by enabling vehicles to better adapt to the driver’s current condition. It extends conventional advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) by incorporating human-related signals obtained through vehicle-integrated sensing technologies. By combining physiological measurements with user feedback, the project investigates how a driver’s current condition can be identified in naturalistic driving situations. The project is carried out in collaboration between RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau and Honda R&D Europe (Deutschland) GmbH.
