RESEARCH INTEREST

I study syntactic developmental patterns in L1 and L2 acquisition in children and adults. During my PhD, I researched structural priming effects in monolingual and bilingual German-speaking children across development. As a postdoc in the SILPAC research unit (https://silpac.uni-mannheim.de/), I focus on within- and cross-language structural priming in monolingual and bilingual English- and German-speaking children. My project aims to prime frequency-dependent and atypical grammatical constructions to understand how these constructions adapt immediately and over time, potentially driving language change.
