Admission requirements for the Master's in Integrative Social Science are a successfully completed (Bachelor's) degree with a final grade of at least 2.7 and proof of sufficient knowledge of English.

In terms of content, the Master's program is open to all graduates with a Bachelor's degree in Integrative Social Science or an equivalent degree. Degree programs with social science content are equivalent.

The Master's is also open to graduates of non-social science courses. Depending on the specific requirements, studies may only be opened for certain specializations.

Enrollment is possible for both summer and winter semesters.

The application deadline is February 28 or August 31 of each year. In order to process your application, we require a certified copy of your degree certificate showing your final grade. If you do not yet have your degree certificate at that time, a letter from your examination office confirming your expected final grade as at least 2.7 will also suffice.

In addition to the degree certificate, proof of sufficient English language skills must be enclosed. The following certificates are recognized:

- TOEFL: 213 computer based, 80 internet based

- IELTS: 6.0

- Cambridge Certificates: First certificate in Engl. (FCE), Certificate in Advanced Engl. (CAE) and Certificate of Proficiency in Engl. (CPE)

- TELC: English B2

- DAAD English language certificate or VKB language courses: Level B2 or another passed English course at level C.

No proof of English is required if a) English is your native language or b) you have already completed at least 1 degree course in English.
